I hope it is an attempt at humor. He started another eclipse thread smack talking California. Lighten up.

Now THAT is humor. Get it? Lighten up?

Should start to see something happening on the east coast around 2:15pm and maximum coverage around 2:50pm, then ending around 3:30pm. NC should be a total eclipse. Here in CT, only about 70% covered.

I was quite disappointed in the eclipse. My area was 70% covered. The local police sent out a message to pull over if you plan on looking at it and headlights would be required.
I was outside mowing lawns during the eclipse, and if I was not aware that it was going to happen, I would not have noticed the slightest bit if it darkening out....

I got home from work and cut the lawn. Lots of haze and low cloud cover too. Didn't notice much of anything.:notsure:

A partial eclipse is like being outside the stadium during a football game.

Seems I was wrong about the Eclipse and that it wasn't exactly a "DUD" or no show after all. It appears that it was only delayed for a few hours.
I stepped out on my front porch yesterday about 8:45 pm and it looked like this outside.
Guess I was wrong. Guess that's what you get for jumping to conclusions...:anonymous:
