Eclipse AVN 6600 ipod help

    So I'm trying to help my boss get his stereo hooked up to play his ipod. He has an Eclipse AVN6600 and wants to get an adapter to play his ipod.

    as two options but with very different prices. (and yes we know that the one on crutchfield is discontinued but he found the same thing somewhere else)

    Has anyone had any experience with this to help point us in the right direction here. What exactly is needed to simply play an ipod out from this deck?
