Eco Block from crawford performance

It's not like bolting on a super charger changes, it's more subtle but noticable. I think those that bought it were expecting major improvements and when they didn't get what they were expecting, they passed it off as a gimmick. Kind of like those that buy an air intake and believe they are getting more performance, when in reality they are just stepping on the gas harder.

 

Ive had mine on for a year and my gas mileage did improve. It went from 15.6 avg to 15.8 avg. Im pulling mine off as soon as I find a new engine cover. I had to modify it to accept the taller MAF sensor.

I just read through all 71 pages of this, and in the process ordered and cancelled.

 

Put one on my 4runner, drove from Maine to Boston - engine light came on - got home, removed device. Engine light went off. Gas mileage was slightly better on the trip. Not enough to allay my concerns regarding the product.

 

I've run mine for...months? Dunno. Since last year. Never had a CEL and I think I've ended up with a very slight MPG gain, but even with long highway stretches it's always hard to actually tell. Someone would need to dyno + do exhaust testing to really be able to tell. None of us with our butt dynos and gas station receipts are ever going to know.

 

I am running the Q3 on my 4cyl 5spd RC Prerunner - 265/70/16 tires - 2" lift. I have aftermarket intake and never seen a CEL. I have seemingly gotten a mile or 2 more mpg but have not dyno'd before/after nor have I run torque app to get before/after fuel trims. I do know the instant mpg on the torque app has never seen any 22-23 mpg at a constant speed/rpm on flat hwy before adding it like it will get now. I have no reason to toss it. Buy it if you want or don't. Say what you will about the science or marketing. Merely presenting feedback. Pics...........

nah,no difference for me, but I have a K&N, so I was curious, before i got it, i was reading some people would swear by it, it's hit or miss imo, if you click on my fuelly icon, i track my mileage religiously

 

I really wanted to see a dyno done but Crawford never came through. Too bad, it would have been interesting. They haven't posted anything here in a long time either. Wonder if they're still really promoting these things?

I saw that too. They were huge in the thread and then nothing. They kept saying they were going to dyno someone and these "people" never showed. I wonder if those people were real to begin with.

 

I don't use fuelly but I use my scangauge and note everything.

 

Yes some were real. Then stuff like this happens.

it was a direct injection 4.7L

it gave me 15 more HP !!!!
