Just bought the Ecoflow Wave 2 as a bundle with the 800W inverter - I am making a poorman's camper end shell for my 2012 Taco, with camper shell. Makes my be 7 feet. Making a shelving unit - already have the ecoflow Delta max 2 with an extra battery. I am not sure i would assume the wire is waterproof. I'd like to put it under the truck, then come up into the truck bed - thoughts?

The cables from EcoFlow are really well made.
I assume that you will have either end out of direct water and attached inside somewhere.

The rest of the cable is double sheathed, so running under the truck shouldn't be an issue.

So I had to run it under the truck, couldn't get it through the firewall was able to make an elongated hole, in the front of of the bed.

I found some nice firewall boot grommets on Amazon for this exact solution.

They require a 1.25" hole drilled. So, I did this on both sides of my firewall (drivers and passengers) with a step bit, touched up the area with paint and installed a grommet on each side of the truck.

On the passenger side, I routed 10awg +/- wires to the area under the passenger rear seat to power my fridge (before I got my Jackery or EcoFlow).

I added a boot on the drivers side to route my EcoFlow 800w Alt charger cables to the drivers back seat area.

These boots are graduated, so as you need more available space for wires and such down the road, you just carefully snip back a step and it opens it up more and gives you a new place to add a zip tie.

Eventually, I plan to route my ARB compressor and front locker switch wires through this drivers side boot so I can move the switches inside the cab. Yeah, I know, I know. I just haven't had the motivation to do it yet.

I should have posted before I installed and looked at INSAYN's post. My Truck isn't that crazy -it is sparkly green lol. Just trying to use the bed to sleep in, camp etc. I just don't have money to get a trailer - i want to make into a little RV. I have thought about making a trailer using poor man's fiberglass - a tear drop or so

If anyone is interested in buying one, there is some weird promotion going on inside the Ecoflow app; it’s about the new delta 3 plus but you can add and order just the alternator charger for $200

I picked one up on the $200 deal. Have not yet installed it. It will be powering a Delta 2. With the upcoming shorter days I’m thinking my solar may not fully charge up the Delta.

Just to give you all an update...

The EcoFlow Alternator Charger works great in my gen 3 TRD Pro. However, I did discover an issue not with the charger, but with the EcoFlow Deltra Pro and extra Smart Battery, which are mounted in the back seat of my truck.

Apparently, the Delta Pro and/or Smart Battery is emitting RF energy, which is interfering with the remote keyfobs frequency for the truck. I am unable to use the keyfobs to unlock/lock the truck unless the keyfob is right in my hand when I grab the truck door handle. As soon as I move the EcoFlow batteries away from the truck, the keyfob functionality returns to normal. This was troubleshooted with both keyfobs, and brand new batteries inside of them. When the EcoFlow batteries are running inside of the truck bed, you get about 50% of the range for the keyfobs. But inside the truck, the range is 0%.

Again, the Alternator Charger works great, and I can deal with no remote keyfob range when I'm out off-roading/dispersed camping.

I'll be writing up a bug report for EcoFlow, with the hopes that a firmware update will be provided by them down the road to fix the issue.

Thanks for the update! This info is helpful to know what we will likely encounter during our install.

Does this work with the River 2 Pro, or just the Delta series?

Delta series only. The River has no auxiliary battery port.

The Delta 2 1800W power supply is only $399 on Amazon currently. Very tempting but my EB3A suits my needs currently.

I installed mine last night. I was looking at doing the dual battery system but the price was crazy. Since I already have Ecoflow Batteries in my truck this is a no brainer. I can reverse charge my trk battery with my EEcoflow battery or just do a charge maintenance on it. And I cam still charge my Ecoflow batteries from the trk alternator

I too did an install on the head of the Molly pnl in the camper shell. I think I love this more than anything. Beats the double battery install and cheaper with more bennies.
