Okay this is just a quick and dirty on some basics from the two listed above. I'm more than likely going to stick with the Ecoflow.

I'm not sponsored by either of them, I was just in the market at figured I would compile a side by side comparison here.

    Who's running what, and why?

    Jackery Explorer 500
    Price
    $499
    Battery Capacity 518Wh (21.6V) )
    Outlets
    • AC outlet x1
    • USB-A ports x3
    • DC ports x2
    • Car port x1
    • 1x 110V AC port (500W continuous, 1,000W peak)
    Battery Chemistry Li-ion NMC
Charge Cycles 500 cycles to 80%+ capacity
Solar Charge Input 100W 12V DC 12A Max
AC Inverter Output 500W (1000W Surge)
    Charge Time
    • 7.5 Hours (AC)
    • 7.5 Hours (12V Car adaptor)
    • 9.5 Hours (Solar panels)
    Weight 6.03 Kg (13.3 Lbs)
    Dimensions 30 x 19.2 x 24.2cm

    VS.

    EcoFlow RIVER Max
    Price
    $599 - CURRENTLY ON SALE @ AMAZON. I JUST PAID 450 SHIPPED AS OF 24 AUG 21
    Battery Capacity 576Wh (28.8V)
    Outlets
    • USB-A ports x2
    • USB-A Fast Charge x1
    • USB-C ports x1
    • DC ports x2
    • Car port x1
    • 3x 120V AC ports (600W continuous, 1,200W peak)
    Battery Chemistry Li-ion NMC
Charge Cycles 500 cycles to 80%+ capacity
Solar Charge Input 200W 10-25V DC 12A Max
AC Inverter Output 600W (Surge 1200W)
    Charge Time
    • 1.6 Hours (AC)
    • 6.5 Hours (12/24V Car Adaptor)
    • 3-6 Hours (Solar panels)
    Weight 7.7 kg (17 lbs)

The obvious winner here is Ecoflow in every category except the weight.

Overall, I think the clear winner is the EcoFlow if you had to pick between the two. If you disagree, I would love to know why.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
I would disagree only because the specs listed for EcoFlow does not show a 110VAC outlet.
You must have not copy'n'pasted it??

I have one of these with a case, 12v lights, accessories, etc. This particular one is $194 shipped to my door. :notsure: Works great for supplying power to the Router and my Laptop when the power is out.

Having a built in inverter that puts out 110vac power is key, imo. Very key.

This technology is changing for the better - bought a GOALZERO 400 about 4 years ago which we chain to a small car battery
inside our little camper to power lights, charge phones, run my CPAP Machine on. Got a solar-panel setup to charge if needed
as well. With the chained battery pack we can go 4-5 days doing light-duty powering, including my CPAP Machine with 12V adapter.

My 300w Jackery has 2 110vac sockets, allowing me to plug in my computer, camera, phone, boot dryers, insole heater and heated glove batteries etc. I assume all the different size Jackery Portable Power Stations have them. I would NOT buy a power station without an inverter to power 110vac appliances.
