How close was it to fitting with your shell? Seems like it would have almost fit. You mounting your RTT on your Snugtop?

    Truck looks so sick!

Thanks! The rack was made specifically for the Soft Topper - the snug top has a little lip that wraps over the side of the bed & even though I didn't check, probably wouldn't have fit.
I'm adding 2 more yakima crossbars for a total of four & hopefully throwing the RTT back up there this w/e. thanks for the motivation. :)

Now when Snugtop, leer, ARE say their roof capacities are 200# or 400# or whatever, is that because of the rack? So you're saying that by adding the 4 cross bars it will theoretically double the roof capacity? So basically it's not the cap that can't Handel the weight it's the actual rack?

    Curious...
I noticed that's what you did on your Tundra as well. I meant to ask about that before too.

With regard to the snug top weight limit its definitely a grey area... Everyone's max load is pretty conservative. 200# ish for the fibre glass top & the Yakima racks are claiming 160# as their max. Those are usually limits for while in motion too.
My tent is about 200# empty so I feel pretty confident that while driving I won't have any problems. I did the same thing on my Tundra & it worked for years just fine.
The extra crossbars are basically insurance for when I pop the tent & add 400 more lbs (sleeps a family of 4). We'll see :)

Nice! Do you have any more pictures from head-on? And did you take off the "BajaRack" on the fairing? Is it just a vinyl sticker?

Nice set up like the wheels. I have the MGM too and like the different wheel set get tired of just seeing everything plastdip. Rack on the topper is next we did a camp trip this weekend looking forward to more to come.

Still wondering how you did wheels. Did you pay to have them powder coated, or rattle can.

I can't speak for ECRIV but do some bronze plast-dip! The stuff is awesome! I'm telling you, you can't go wrong.
