I like his mods and attitude towards sharing info, etc., but this process is BS - really.

Then don’t buy one? I don’t see how it’s bull shit. This isn’t his day job. He does what he can. He doesn’t have to make and sell any of these. Quit your bitching.

How exactly is it bs? He's doing us all a favor by developing all these nice mods and then taking the time to produce and sell them. He could just make mods for his own truck and leave everyone else out to dry. He does everything by himself in his free time. I am grateful for the chance to buy the nice stuff he makes.

Then. Don’t. Buy. One. It’s not that difficult. Go build your own, he provides everything you need to do it yourself. Then there’s no “BS process” to deal with.

Maybe so.....if the amount of posts/words I write are what is valued less by the owners than consumption of other people posts.

Meso is indeed a hero; his selling process is BS.

If you think about it, his process is actually very smart. By not maintaining a list he can dedicate more time to making products. Not sure if you've ever hosted a Group Buy but its a literal PITA, you have to pretty much watch it constantly otherwise people flake out and steer the thread into oblivion. And if you take money for preorders, then you are obligated to ship that product within a timely manner. Everyone knows that Meso doesn't exactly "keep to schedule" his projects are constantly delayed. But no one can complain about it because he hasn't taken any money yet. That gives him the freedom to live his life and not be strapped down making taco products for impatient people like you. [end rant]

Personally I love the process as a brand new owner - I've been lucky enough to snag a good bit of his mods, if I was on the waiting list I would get any, maybe ever given his following. I think it helps bubble up the people who really want his stuff... to each their own belief though. Thanks MESO!

His process works for him. This is a side gig for him. When is is ready and organized he puts things on sale. He backs his product, and he has amazing customer service.

Just because he does not cater to your inability to follow a forum post and click a button doesn't mean it is BS. I assume you are in favor of participation trophies, "Do I have that right?"

Let me start this by saying I personally agree with him and I am not a super fan of the process. And I don't think everyone should jump down his throat because of it. With that being said his words could have been a little more tactful. Typically with custom items like this they are made to order. DB Customz grilles and faux emblems are good examples of this. Someone earlier posted he mods his own truck and shares the mod with us because he thinks we will really like it. I kind of disagree with that statement, at the end of the day it is a business and he is in it to make money. From how quickly most of his items sell he should be making a pretty penny. Which he deserves to make and I commend him on his creativity. I think a pre order list with payment upufront is more fair to the people who happened upon the tread first. Which of you think about it would be more of a true first come first serve. This will help you to control inventory and out of pocket expense. But at the end of the day it is his business and he can run it how he pleases. And this is a public forum and for a lack of a better term quit acting like douches and let the man voice his opinion with out jumping down his throat.....

His process removes the logistical nightmare of tracking info. It also allows him to control workload with respect to filling orders.
