Is a good idea. Unfortunately for me I've moved my plug to the back of the console. Ah well.

Also in and patiently waiting for 2.0 :playball: - I would prefer to install it in the fuse box to keep the clean look of my interior

everything is hidden behind the panel that the ECT button is on and the connection to the lighter is in the same panel. IMO, running a wire from the back of where the ECT button down and around to the fuse panel on the drivers side under dash is a pain. my 2cents.

Yeah You are right, since I have not made any mods that require electricity I was thinking my fuse box was in my cab ( like my old 4runner) now I realize its actually under the hood, and it would make it more of a pain to install. My mistake. Hopefully version 2.0 will be sometime this year....although I am finally getting in the habit of pushing the ECT button.

Does anyone know once you hold the button to disable (in case wifey drives) will it stay disabled after the next ignition cycle is tuned off/on and stay off until its manually enabled again? or will it automatically be re-enabled when the next person starts the ignition? Please advise.

Actually you have a few fuses under the dash. Don't know about the other stuff.

99.9% sure it stays off. if you need to take it in for service then you can disable it so it is off when they test drive it.

@mesojdm , please correct me if I am wrong.
The design that Meso put in placeworks as a simple toggle when tapped, essentially same as stock.

The BIG difference is that holding the button for a few seconds will save the current setting into memory. Each start-up the mod then loads the last saved setting.

In simpler terms, it "pushes" the button for you, IF you have saved the "on" setting (This is the default setting when it is sent). IF you have saved the "off" setting it does nothing.
