I need this, I have had the tsb which helps with shifting. But the fact they truck constantly wants to run sub 1000-1500 rpm at all times is brutal. The gas pedal feels like I'm running a loom. Have to press hard and gives no response once pressed. Like if there's slack in a throttle cable. It makes the motor feel like the first ones that deactivated cylinders to help EPA ratings, clunky and weird. The increase in throttle response from the ECT is so much nicer. With so many switches in this truck I forget to push it and try to accelerate as the truck downshifts 3 gears before anything is felt. Just saying I'm in for one. Please and thank you

you describe it well, my exact thoughts. not mentioned much around here the difference in the gas pedal feel. the worst is when you are running around making stops and the you forget to turn on ECT and go to pull out into traffic and no response when you give it gas.

It's pretty horrible. It's like a completely different truck switched over.

@mesojdm's last update is as follows:
He went on to say the new enclosure will be smaller, and he's looking to tap power from the 12v aux outlet instead of running a line and using an add a fuse.

Not to my knowledge. I believe he was focused on the V4 ultimate turn signals.

As with all ME-SO Mods the key is to be patient, follow the threads and jump on them, or, like me, get lucky and snag one that someone was selling.

I’m in for one along with the fuse box covers. I’ve bookmarked Page 1 of this thread, hope it doesn’t take too long.

And Meso builds a bunch of something and then offers it for sale . If others would do that and not take your money and sell you something maybe months later we would all be better off.

I’m still working out the kinks in the new site(hell, I threw it together at 2am the other night). I’m waiting on the final sample for the new ECT PCB board. I designed it to be as small and thin as possible(about the size of your thumb nail)

    In my signature :)
