    Sad part is... I actually got one in the last round a couple of weeks ago. I received it, but didn't have time to install... it has since disappeared. I have the whole family keeping an eye out for it. I may be a candidate for the new version if it drops before I find the other.

    With what I know its going to be functionally the same thing. Will be a different form factor / approach to building it. Which is a good thing, the current version takes a LONG time to make in large batches, and some of the materials take a long time to come in.

    So long story short. It will do the same thing, but will be easier to make, therefore more to go around.

    Correct.
    Not only will it be less time consuming to make, but much easier to install.

    With the new proposed design, I intend for it to be 100% drop in, no wiring, no harnesses, etc. You won't even know something has been installed:D

    Almost, but not 100%. Still have To fish power wires down, tap off fuse box etc.
    That version has worked, but everything can be improved. This design will actually replace the guts INSIDE the ECT button.
    No wires, no fuse taps, no harnesses. Simple and clean.
