    Yup.
And even better, it will have a backlit emitting led which will illuminate the ECT text as to the current activation status (red or green). It will truely be like OEM.

Doesn’t the cluster ECT already indicate status? All that would really be needed is indication that ALWAYS ON mode is active.

A light comes on on the instrument cluster but the switch does not light up.

Yes the cluster shows the current status of the ECT but not the module.
Example: Mod could be deactivated, but you can still push the button on/off and the dash light showing “on” but that’s not the case for the mod. I don’t think it will be a constant light, just a few quick flashes indicating status. You don’t need it on all the time. In fact, it would mess with the nighttime backlighting

But if it’s on, the cluster ECT will already be illuminated when you start. If it’s not, it won’t. I could see perhaps an always on red/whatever to indicate it is active from long press. With nothing otherwise, it woul look and act stock.

Yeah I’m still ironing out the function details. I want to keep it as stock and stealth as possible.

How much does ECT really affect gas mileage.

It really all depends on how hard you are on the gas pedal. Mine is also about 17-18 MPG give or take if im in and out of traffic.
