I have been having problems with my ETC on all the time, I noticed yesterday it worked fine five times, then I went out and ECT did not come on until I held the button in for about 5 seconds. The first time this happened, I questioned myself if I pressed the button off, but now it has happened again.

Question. Do you go to acc mode for a couple seconds before starting? Sometimes can get out of sync if you don't go straight to run.

If that's not the case, I'll continue to pm you and get you a replacement.

Well you cant set the cruise control in gears 1-3 so if you are going ~25-30 and in 4th gear it may be shifting sooner so that it can get up to speed quickly and then shift back to 4th.

i had the same issue, see post 1614. then i saw this, about 2 days ago i was just using ACC to add pic to my screen off on the head unit. i bet in my case this might have been the cause and just now noticed it. i never use ACC

Very recently I noticed the mod "off" the other day, and it was probably that day I sat in my truck and listened to the radio in ACC mode then started my truck straight from there. Other than that time, it's been the best mod since my remote starter!

Watch the video in the first post in this thread. Probably easier to see it than have it explained.

There are two “modes” - always On (each time you start the truck, ECT will turn on a few seconds after and stay on), and always Off (each time you start the truck, ECT will not turn on and stay that way).
You can of course momentarily touch the button to turn it on/off as you wish, but next time you start the vehicle - the mode will continue as previously selected.
You can change the “mode” by holding the button down for over five seconds.

    Hope that helps...

adding on, so if you start the truck and the ECT does not come on then you need to hold the ECT button for 5+ seconds. the next time you start the truck ECT should come on.

DSIM took over the version 1 ECT Mod from MESO. He posts on this thread when available for sale. It’s currently sold out, but I think he’s working on another batch, but not 100% sure?

MESO is also working on a new version 2 ECT mod, but no release date yet.
