Wrong thread… better for you to not spam and start your own thread. It was mentioned already-

Good job. But it would be appreciated if you start your own thread. Thanks

I’m sorry my intentions were not to spam or hijack. I’m still new here but I thought the basic idea of TacomaWorld was to share ideas and information, I’m not here to sell anything.

Yeah that is the basic idea for Tacoma World, but not a good idea to do that in someone else’s for sale thread.

I was lucky to get a 2 button trd shifter from meso, I’d be happy to sell the Ect mod I got that hasn’t been installed, for cost plus shipping at new owners expense.

Sorry Meso, I wasn’t paying attention that this was your thread. Was hoping to pass on one of your great products, as I have a couple of them. Privileged to have them due to a kindness shown me and I wanted to pass on to others. Not trying to jack your thread, or upset anyone.

I hat the way my taco shifts...! It sucks! Without stomping on the gas, it will shift like shit and wrap out every gear to 4500 rpms.

Took it to the deLer and they reflashed it but it still has that same pattern...

When I turn on ECT it's like a different truck. It will drive normal and not REV above 2500 rpms...

    I HATE IT!

Can anyone post what the 4 wires in the plug do? I know you short two together to toggle the button, for the remaining 2 wires I'm guessing one is for the LED, what's the 4th one for?

1 Wire is for the button signal to the ECU (It's VERY gently pulled high to 12V)
1 Wire is positive for LED Lighting
1 Wire is Neg PWM'ed for dimming for LED Lighting
1 Wire is for always on Neg (Connected to Signal wire when button is pressed, pulling the signal wire low causing the ECU to see the button has been pressed)

Thank you very much for the info. Is the positive for the LED always on, and they control the LED entirely through the PWM'd negative wire?
