    Did that and auto-on module is working again, so apparently it was in the off mode. Strange because I didn't deactivate it. Sure hope it doesn't happen again. Lol

    odd... the ONLY way for it to deactivate would be
    A)Holding the button down for 5 sec
    B)If it looses power(from the fuse box)

    Yes odd because niether happened. It was working this morning on the commute to work but when I left work I noticed the ect light was off and had to press the ect button. :notsure:

    @mesojdm your statement in "B" above leads me to believe the module is drawing continuous power from the battery, even with the ignition off. Assuming that is the case:
    1. do you know how many mA the module draws?
    2. Does it only draw power when its been activated or does it draw power irrespective of being active/inactive?

    Fuse tap is in the cigarette lighter circuit so powered only when ignition is on.

    If that is the case it would imply that the module will lose power every time the ignition is off and thus contradicts his statement in B:

    the ONLY way for it to deactivate would be
    A)Holding the button down for 5 sec
    B)If it looses power(from the fuse box)    ​

    Sorry, I should have clarified.
    if it looses power from the main fuse box while the truck is on. The module has 2 power leads; the fuse box for main power and there is a 12v line on the ECT button that it looks for to activate/deactivate the mod.

    When the truck is off, the module pulls zero power. The last state " ON OR OFF" is stored in its memory

    i want to run the power to the lighter not the fuse box. which wire on the lighter do i attach the red power line off your mod?

    thanks.....also i have a in line fuse laying around but i only have a 3 amp fuse for it, is that enough for your mod?
