Thanks for the tip. But is that inline fuse really needed? The lighter is already fused/wired at 15A.

since the fuse supplied on the fuse tap was 5 amp i figured would not hurt to step it down off the 15 amp lighter hot wire. just me being overly cautious.

That's perfectly fine. In fact, i'm not running one on mine (since the Cig is already fused). :bananadead: Plus this module take practically no power.
I only included a 5A fuse because the fuse holder needed something in the spot.

    Sure..I could look into it

Used a T-tap which the male end of your power cord plugged right into. I like this setup better. Everything is working great so far. I like that I have to "choose" eco mode for the truck rather than choosing ect every time.

All autozone had was a blue one. 16ga maybe? I used my wire strippers to expose a bit of wire and clamped it around it. Then put some electric tape around it to hold in place. And yes the fuse cover is back in place haha.

Bed mat, step, and lights, huskie mud flaps, Polk components, Alpine amp, 3 layer sound proofing, B&I blackwood dash kit, fluid film, led cabin and footwell lights, tail letters, window tint, IGGEE seat covers. More to come.
I think I have this properly wired and ready to install. Most relay diagrams do show 85 as ground and 86 as (+) trigger wire. Also best to separate connection from tr7 before soldering, put in line fuse before tr7/relay. If this is incorrect please let me know. Where I get confused is the ect switch pink wire is the power source to the relay input(+) #30 and the (+) output #87 back to the black/white switch wire= both connections are (+), is this correct? In normal function then the switch pink wire will supply momentary power to the bl/w wire when depressed to send a signal to the ECU? Hope this question makes sense.

Looks good! Exactly how my diagram is. I like the Mini Relay used as well. Helps cut down some of the bulk
