Anybody with the 3.5/AT have trouble with the engine surging and stuttering with the ECT on? If I'm driving at 25-35mph in town, light throttle, it does the buck and surge. It acts like it is running out of gas. Supposedly, the TSB has been done.

Unrelated to ECT: The other day when I was driving in snow/slush/ice with it in 4 Hi, I made a left turn against oncoming traffic. I got halfway across the turn when it decided to basically stop moving and it nearly left me stranded out there with traffic headed right at me. I floored it, it decided to barely start moving again, then stumbled and took off WOT. No, it was not spinning the wheels. Tonight, I could barely get it to go into the car wash on dry pavement. Press the throttle, nothing, then it lurches ahead. This is the craziest, bipolar vehicle I have ever owned.

Sounds like my truck on 87. The stuttering and missing anyways.

My truck has had the latest tsb and still runs like poo on regular.

I'd take it to the dealer and have a health check done.

Some trucks have faulty crank position sensors. May want to get that checked out. Your truck dying sounds like that issue

Have you had your transmission fluid level checked?
