    For everybody that's driven or own a '16...(I haven't)

Many have said hitting the ECT button makes a large or noticeable difference in power. Is this merely changing the shift points, or could it be transitioning to otto cycle sooner as well?

I believe it just alters the tranny programming. Indirectly, if it down shifts or more power is required, it may influence the engine mode selected.

Is there any way to keep the ECT power on all the time? As it stands, I have to turn it on every time I start the car.
