Our tune will definitely address the poor shift logic and laggy throttle pedal in your truck, and it will be backed with best-in-class customer service!

That being said, if your heart is set on OTT, you check for a tuner in your area via their website here:

    Retailer Locations (overlandtailor.com)

Regardless if which you choose, you will find the truck a lot more fun to drive after it's been tuned! Many folks also report some modest fuel efficiency gains as well!

I'm in the same process. My plan is to use the Pedal Commander and the Rough Country tire chip to help with the speed accuracy and shifting points.

ECT works great on on ramps getting up to speed on interstate.
From a stop, merging into heavy traffic.
Gives a little extra oomf going up a hill but turn it off at the top and after you're up to speed for other examples.
Running ECT at coasting speeds runs like crap, for me.

ECT probably caused less wear on your transmission because it reduces the number of unnecessary shifts significantly

I got mine done with Cody in Midland. He's a great guy. I think you can find his info on OTT's website.

GET IT TUNED, screw a pedal commander, screw the ECT button. Do it right the first time. Never have I ever regretted getting the tune. Best money I've ever spent on a vehicle.

I ran ECT continously without a issue. It felt like there was a little more gusto than withouht...no real impact to MPG on my end.

Living in N.W. PA. there are few flat roads so, ECT on 100% of the time, Sport 4 with the occasional bump to 5th. Lugging an engine makes one push the go pedal further and further down in order to maintain speed on hills, which eats up fuel. Present tank been pulling a 6.6'mileage 7-23.jpg by 10' open with two loads one 1920lbs and the other 2126lbs. plus trailer so, the m.p.g. is down.

Yes u can run it all the time but u will see a decrease in mpg . The purpose of the button is to hold the rpm longer before shifting . Used for towing going up steep hills.doesn’t increase power .

i think it slips the torque converter, raises the shift point RPMs, and changes the timing/fuel trims when ECT mode is enabled. Any tuners out there that know exactly what ECT mode does?
