    On my 2020 sr5 whether using the S modes or D there really isn't any performance difference other than being in that S mode gear chosen. I can get about the same results in the D mode when the transmission senses it needs to downshift, and it does at the precise time according to roads grade. ECT is another story....longer shift points, and a louder/different engine tone. Fuel economy is like having 2 more cylinders....it sucks. Imo, ECT is only for trailers that are over 3k lbs.

    Not much yet. Previous owner put some oversized tires and rims
    Apparently the newer models are tuned a little better and don’t feel as gutless.

    Averaged about 19 mpg using the ECT button driving from Albuquerque to Denver and back while running a 2” lift and slightly larger tires. Definitely helps a bit when driving uphill, the gear changes isn’t as weird.
