Yeah, it's a little pricey for a knob. But once you experience it, both the comfort of the PRO knob + the convenience of the buttons... you will be wondering how you every fumbled for hitting switches again:D

One more in the bag! Ordered a DIY stage two in black when they came available again. Recently I noticed my clicker wasn’t working. Motivated me to get this installed. Culprit was cut wires on the original. Now I have a dual clicker. One for ECT and one for anger management. :)

Did the shift knob cut the wire during movement?

No clue. But that’s the likely scenario. Gen 1 has been in for ~1 yr. I’ve been waiting on Gen 2 for the smoother switch. Debating putting my gen 1 up for grabs. Still works, just need to splice the wires together.

Ill be curious to see where the wire was cut. Ill go over my set up again tomorrow to make sure the wires are somewhat secured and out of the way...

That’s pretty hard to do thoroughly. I sat and stared at them for awhile. Fiddled a little bit. Looked at the console trying to imagine how it’s going to fit back on, etc. In the end, there’s just so little room to manipulate things once you have the knob screwed down. I ended up routing the harness down the driver’s side, crossing over in front of the shifter and turning up sort of where the existing harness you have to disconnect is. (That one on the right side). If I had to guess, I’d say it got cut by a gate. Well, the auto version of a gate.

No fault to MESO... just to be clear.

Just checked, looks like it. 25 knobs (but thats just in "B" (black?), based on the photo.
Just get a DIY kit. It is easy to do. Follow the video Meso has on the website. Carefully unpin the bottom corner tiny clips and then slowly pry up with two flatheads. There is a doublesided tape holding the plastic to the knob. The rest is super easy. When putting the knob back together remember to put the button wires flat against the groove, not twisted, not on top of each other (the clip wont pop back in). Kits are still available in red or black version.

I have one that I do not need.
I accidentally dropped it on the pavement, so there is a small dent on the bottom right.
    $35?
