Noob Question here - Working on connecting the second button to activate the Anytime Camera System, I remember seeing in this thread that it's possible, just not sure I've seen a diagram or how it was done and cant seem to find those posts again through the lengthy thread, even with the search function

From the extra pigtail connector, there are the Yellow and White wires, which I need to just connect to the lines heading into the relay, but do I need to use both wires from the stealth knob? Does one ground and one connect to the relay?

Just want to make sure I'm not shorting out my system or wiring lol

Snap pics of your wiring once you get it worked up.

I'm thinking of doing this too, but also was considering the park assist button.

    Found this. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/ect-stealth-pro-shift-knob.597659/page-108#post-22845869

    https://youtu.be/bRVlJMvPyo4

It Looks like you tap the Meso Switch wires into the Green & Red wires of the ABC harness.

    White --> Red 12v
Yellow --> Green Front Camera Wire

As a side note/clarification for others thinking of doing this. The stealth knob button is a momentary button, so it will activate the camera only while you hold down the button, and then turns back off once you release the button. (which works for me perfect on those moments of trying to park in a tight space or just trying to see over the "hump" when off-road)

Now all we need is the video that shows us how to hook it to the parking assist... The holy Grail of the right shift knob button.

What's with the drive to wire that up? I always leave it on. Not knocking on anyone for wanting to do it, I just don't understand why.

I turn it off when pulling my trailer...between that and temporary front anytime camera for the momentary right switch is what I'd like to be able to do...obviously only one option for the one button.

I guess I could do that. What do you have for the second switch?

Ah thanks. Hadn't thought of that. I've only towed once but did find the BSM/Parking Assist annoying. Never thought to turn them off.

Front camera! I've set it to the left switch and ECT on the right. Very handy for Walmart parking wheeling.

Yep, since both switches are identical. I just route the ECT wire to the right switch instead of the default left.

I’m glad I got the beat sonic camera… i don’t need to hold it down to keep camera activated (just a simple press keeps front cam on) without any latching relay either.

I activate it every time I park, it’s super convenient at the shift knob

Honestly I can’t remember… maybe Amazon or directly from manufacturer. Just google it and I’m positive you’ll find something

@MESO Got my knob kit installed a couple weeks back, been tooling around with it. This is my favorite mod so far, hands down. Thanks!

Does anyone have a wiring diagram to place the second switch on the knob to activate the front camera?
