TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
If you want to use the momentary switch to power your light bar you could integrate a bistable latching relay.
I used one to get a signal from the ECT button in order to switch the LED in my shift knob from blue to green when the ECT button is pressed.

Installed the MESO DIY Stealth Shift knob kit. Only installed one switch on the drivers side and saved the 2nd one as a spare. It’s great to have the ECT switch on the shifter. I also wired it so that the OEM ECT button still functions as normal. 71461034-0EE3-4580-BE1B-9355835C00D3.jpg

I would be willing to discuss the details of the electrical configuration if you want to PM me. Providing a video would be way too time consuming and complex.

Generous offer but electrical schematics might as well be in hieroglyphics - I’d need at least some pics - I keeping this convo public because I’m sure others would want to do this mod or those who have performed the mod might be willing to share.

What I could do is assemble a duplicate on my bench and take some pics.

Does anyone have any insight on how one could wire one of these switches up as a trigger wire for an SPOD or Switchpro?

Looking to make my passenger side switch a trigger wire to momentarily power (flash) the lights connected to my SPOD. I understand programming the SPOD but I'd like some input on the wiring of the shift knob switch to it.

I reached out to @MESO and havn't heard back yet.

Edit: just updating this so someone with the same question can reference it. I talked to SPOD, and the trigger wires that send signal don't draw more than a few mA, so they can be hooked directly up to the meso shift knob switches and used as a trigger! Newest firmware also allows the trigger to be programed "latched", so no extra stuff is needed if you want to use the momentary Meso switch to turn something on and have it stay on.

That means hooking the switches up as a trigger just requires making a ground connection with one leg of the switch, and connecting to the trigger input of the SPOD with the other. Couldn't be easier, super happy with both the Meso product and the SPOD!

I had a customer ask to retain the switch and then add an additional controller to the shift knob, but yeah if you wanted to delete it you could just use the male.

Was this meant to work with the knobs from Taco Garage if equipped with a button?

If AJ's shift knob has a momentary switch on it then I can adapt this to do whatever, but no it's meant for the MESO stealth knob with additional switch.

Once I get over the fidgety fun of the momentary switch I added, I'll have to reach out about making the switch do something useful.
