I feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Nothing doing. I just tried every combination of what you just mentioned, including checking my connections at the knob which all look fine.

This seems so overly simple yet not working... frustrating.

This is what I have in terms of wires behind my ch4x4 switch. I imagine you are talking about Green and Red 1.

Pin 3 and 4 are just for backlight illumination.
Pin1 and 2 are the wires that connect when you push the button in.
All you are doing is tapping off those and running them to the stealth knob. It’s essentially mimicking you pushing the button. But keep in mind it won’t be latched.

Yup that's what I did... something must be fucky somewhere in my wires. My ch4x4 still turns the bar on and off just fine but I'll check again tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

If you just tap into #1 & #2 wire with your 2 wires from your momentary stealth switch, it WILL work. I tried it a few weeks ago with my light bar and it worked. And your regular light bar switch will still function as it normally did.

are you sure your meso switch is activating ? you may need to sand on it some to get it to click the button.

Sure feels like it is. I’m checking the wires right now and I can’t make sense of it unless I have a defective switch at this point. Not like there’s much to mess up here. It’s the most basic of connections.

If you want to do a quick test, just unplug the white connector at the base of the shift knob(careful!) and swap them around. Your right button should activate the ECT now. If so, the button is working properly.

Good call, switch is good. Can't wait to update you guys with the stupidest reason as to why this still isn't working. Going to check my connections between the green/black cable and my extension next. No time for now... off to see John Wick 3... to be continued.

this will, or may not help but.......

    LED 1 in grill
    LED 2 hood
CH 4x4 switch only works with lights on, as to not have them running during the day
LED 1 will power LED 2 switch, so both LEDs or only the grill will always be on when off roading
Shifter has power when the truck is on, from the 12volt acc plug in center console all the time and will work as a LED 2 flasher only.
YOU NEED A diode so it won't back feed and turn on relay 1
    i used a big 1/2 watt diode.

PS i just like to wire my relays with +12 volt to the switch not -12 ground
Works for me as have had it for a week now
drawn with my finger on the iPad .. high quality ...lol

Wondering if I could do something custom with this knob in my 2nd gen  instead of ECT I could wire it to Tracion Control/Auto LSD? 2nd switch could he ditch lights or something along the lines  also need to get a 3rd gen OEM shift boot ;)

For those curious, I got my 2nd button to work with my LED light. I tracked it down to a bad ground wire in the harness. @MESO fixed me right up!

Is that for the scoop light? And you still can use your switch?

With a little help from MESO I was able to extend my wiring a little bit longer today making it a tad easier to reinstall everything. I was one of the guys who had a pin that popped right out originally but as always Stew goes the extra mile to make things right. So not only was able to fix that but like I said was able to lengthen the wiring a short bit. I also reinforced some parts with heat shrink tubing.

Just curious in case I need to do it but why did you need to lengthen the wire ?

I figured that with the shorter length of the wire there wasn't much room to plug it together. This also made it easier for the two plugs to come apart from each other.

My white connectors came undone a couple of times, I just put a small heat shrink tube around both to "lock" them.
