Just turned the 15th today here on Guam. Just a side note MESO. It is my birthday so drop the stage 2 DIY man along with the flip fob. It would make my birthday the best I would have in a long time. Turning 49 and still breathing. Planning to enjoy my Tacoma for the long haul.

I wish the TRD black-lit strip would be sold as a stand alone. Anyway current Stealth Pro Knob owners could do that, @MESO ?

When I hear "add on", the first thing that comes to mind, is that it's an extra option for the newly purchased item at that moment. The way "add on" is being vaguely thrown around, seems to be getting interpreted in many different ways.

I think when the backlit feature is ready, it can be purchased and installed. If you want that feature, you don’t need to wait for it to be released to buy the stealth shifter or diy kit. You can add it later.

It is just speculation, but since he says "just like the DIY kit" I feel like it'll be available to purchase and install separately. He even gave the instructions on how to swap it in which I dont think would be needed if this was only available to add on when purchasing the stealth knob

    Quick question Stew:

I recall when these first came out there was a side note about the right button being only a momentary action switch and not an alternate action switch like the one on the left side because the right side cavity/opening wasn't large enough to accommodate an alternate action switch? is this still the case or has the new version been revised? Just curious for planning purposes.
    Thanks,

Both LEFT and RIGHT buttons are identical in function; MOMENTARY switches. Normally OPEN(pushing the button closes the circuit).
