So my package got here earlier than expected. I just tried out the flip flop below. I managed to light it on fire

Glad I built a test board for it before actually wiring it to anything important. Electricity is fun

 

That's gonna be a pipe dream, the 2020's panoramic cams are all tied into the CanBus to do their thing...

Just kidding...it might be a doable thing.

I’ll have to grab a 2020 from the dealership and see what’s going on. I don’t think there would be canbus going to just the stock switch.. but you never know what Toyota does lol

Could you hook up the second switch to the hazard lights? Monetary just to warn traffic behind you of a sudden stop or something

 

Sorry. I just realized that may have came off as laughing at you, I wasn't at all. I've just been there before, get things all set up, go to test and you release the black smoke, hectic at first but ultimately makes for a good laugh. Thanks for being the guinea pig on this, probably pave the way.

 

Haha dont worry, I was laughing. I think that is the fastest I have destroyed an Amazon package. Probably less than 15 minutes from it being at my door til it was smoking lol

 

You definitely have a great talent with electrical systems. Your detailed schematics are always appreciated.

The only switch I see is the "Front wide view switch", although the left front panel switch has four wires going to it. Is the backlighting wiring not shown in this view? Assuming this is the switch, it looks I can just tie the black and grey wires into my stealth switch.
