    Hi guys,

Sorry if this has already been covered somewhere but i can't for the life of me find a definitive answer anywhere, here or google. Every search I do just brings up ECT button relocation or illumination harnesses.

I'm installing a set of heated seats and I have 4 connections to make, 12v, ground, illumination and an acc (or 'on' as the wiring is labelled) I'm hoping to be able to take the acc from the ECT button, I have a harness for the illumination and am looking to tap into one of those wires so i'm not touching the factory wiring.

From what I can find on other posts around ECT and based on the harness I have, pins 2 and 3 cover the illumination and variable ground, and either pin 1 (black/white wire) or pin 4 (pink wire) would be a switched power correct? Can someone confirm this? I want to get all my wiring sorted before taking the truck apart to install.

I know I could just run this wire to the fuse box and use an add-a-fuse but if i can keep it all tucked away behind the dash i'd prefer that

    Thanks
    Ash

I'm pretty sure I used the illumination wire from that harness for both illumination and power. It's just a trigger for the relay so it doesn't need much voltage.
