They need a turbo. But they are supposed to be really easy to drift.

Sorry this is still going on with your truck. Was yours the very first truck to come off the line for the model and year. Holy shit. Let's go places, if you mean back to the dealer, then they hit the nail on the head. GL

Pain in the ass but oh well. A couple years (and a kid) from now I'll be back in a full size.

Understood. At least they treat you good at the dealer. Maybe they will name the waiting room after you.

Same after my windshield snafu, hooked the guy up with a 6 pack of my favorite craft beer and wrote a killer yelp review trashing the other Toyota dealer in town. Last time I was in there guy had my tires road force balanced and phase mounted for free. Any issues I don't hear a single excuse/warranty run around.

I got a corolla loaner for a day last time, was even gonna wait lol. They come with all that safety sense crap our trucks are supposed to for 18. I played with lane departure and proximity alert, not a fan, but was sorta fun/novelty to mess with.

I truly hope they get it fixed. All jokes aside, your truck must be one of the most problem riddled Tacomas out there. Good luck.
I had three 5th gen 4Runners in seven years. It should have only been two, but the second one I had (SR5 P) must have been built on a Friday when the Japanese equivalent of Carnival was starting. It had a bent wheel. It had more squeaks than a rocking chair showroom on a knotty pine floor. Window regulator broke at 3K. Rear seat bottom just came apart. Driver seat motor. Windshield crooked (wind noise) and had to get new windshield. Bumper cover popped loose on a corner. Axle wrap. All this in the first 20K. Not to mention the Takata air bag fiasco.
My dealer was super helpful too but I had so many problems I finally traded it after only owning it for a year and a few months. Got another and it was perfect.
