ECU flash for transmission stumble/shudder

    Anyone had their Tacoma ecu reflashed for transmission stumble/ shudder? Did it fix problem?

    If you are talking about TSB-58 or 62 (I think those are the numbers) I did. It greatly improved my transmission/smoothness of the car but did not cure it 100%. For example, yesterday when idling I noticed a little bit of rpm surge/rumble but not nearly to the extent before the flash. Likewise, the transmission has been much better more predictable on the highway though I still occasionally get an RPM surge. All in all, I’m happy I did it.
