    I've never experienced a full or near stall when shifting at 3k. Weird. However, mine clunks when shifting into 5th (not 4th). I have to blip the throttle a bit going 4-5, otherwise, "clunk."

    Made it through 40 pages before giving up and posting. Had anyone had US dealers do this on MTs? If so what’s the best way to get it done?

    Anyone in AZ have this done successfully?

    You stopped too soon! Ha!

    There are some dealers that have done it. On the last bunch of pages, there is a map of dealers that did it and ones that didn't.

    Good luck! Take the TSBs with you to step them through it.

    And, this is a good data point to know.. August 2018 build date onward, they actually switched the factory M/T calibration to 04A71, right?

    Um, unless Toyota changed the tune naming convention again for the '19's....

    I was unsuccessful in getting any dealership to do it, but I do have the cable/software and am willing to help out if you get stuck. I live in the Phoenix area and have done the update about 6 times for various people.

    Well Wilsonville Toyota in Oregon is out. They wanted it over night. I said lol bye.

    I'll update the map later when I'm at a computer.

    I figure I'll just do it myself, have the OVtune kit. Anyone actually have some good instructions for doing the Tech stream update yourself? I realize I'm being a bit lazy but I have yet to see a good write up on it. Any help?

    That is just crazy.

    @Ruggybuggy updated the OP with the instructions that we felt were good to go? You should know the drill from the installing the tune. You just need to click on the CUW file for your Taco.

    At auto nation Toyota Tempe. Told them there’s a stumble in first to second gear and a surge in 3-4th gear. Asked to have them put it on techstream and do a health check.... let’s see what they end up doing. This dealer isn’t on that user generated map. Had to go in for a coverage payment dispute. Figured I’d knock out two birds with one stone.
