Anybody in Virginia or close? Let me know!!! Let’s get this thing done. My dealer is a shithole of worthlessness and denial. Hit me up!!!

Again, back to my prohibition era analogy earlier...

I find this bizarre, whatever their mentality is *shrug*

Is your issue a don't have the equip or don't have the knowledge? Either can be solved. Geography is irrelevant

Little bit of both. Lol. Getting the info is one thing. Having a cable and the know how to do it is another.

The knowledge is the easy part. Hardware is the part that costs $$. Laptop with Windows OS, USB/obdii cable, Techstream software.

The knowledge comes via browser using Webex remote session

I understand what pieces are needed from reading all the posts from the beginning. I am just hesitant to try and tackle all this myself especially without the cables, subscription to Techstream, etc. I just know my dealership is going to play clueless and I want to just be calm, cool, and collective when dealing with them with the clutch pedal issue. I can’t imagine trying to get these bumblenuts to tackle this.

My approach will be, if my dealer balks, is to offer to pay if the software won't install. Win all around, in my mind.

Although, I am considering a Tactrix tool as a backup plan.

Until more people get it, we need you to talk dirty.

Details. How steep was the incline? What gear? Speed? What kind of shoe where you wearing?

The new software is dated July 31 so unlikely but maybe they started doing the tsb on the line before the release.

Its unlikely any truck will get it off the line since those ECUs have likely been made for a while.

It will be interesting how Matt improves on the 105 87 tune. I personally am not interested in using the more expensive fuel for a performance gain. I purchased the OV tune to fix the drivability issues but now that Toyota has addressed the issue not sure what I will do with my OV hardware. I guess I'll wait for the 105 to drop and see how it compares and decide after that.

@Ruggybuggy can you post your screenshots of the TSB in the first post? Make it easier to navigate / tell people where to look when the dealer service department plays dumb.

Pfftt, post @MOC221_ Franks 04B10 to 04B13 screenshots. Cuz if this can take the B10 on a direct upgrade to B13 (it can) then it can take the less red headed step children as well!

It all works, but we know this thread about to be a mess and navigating it will be even harder.

Absolutely agree...im going to have to mine posts to get it all together and procure a cable. Im all for a succinct first post as well. But that's a lot of work for the OP...it is a community, and there are a lot of very informative posts. Someone can doc the process and submit to OP as content.
