The 2020’s. I think you and I talked about this earlier in the thread. I had mine updated at the dealer and you said a new one coming out that may have to do with crawl control

For the 2020 AT, the latest TSB-0045-21 is the CC fix. 04B82. Nothing is expected after that. Only the 2016 through 2018 ATs are waiting on the latest calibration.

Tony, is there not a feature on the latest VFTuner that will flash CUW files?

I don't believe it's operational yet, as not all TCU files have been submitted by people for support

I had them do the latest one on my 2020 TRD Pro. Right after it was done Tonred said a new one came out. I just went in with the TSB in hand and they did it. No problem

I’m gonna do the latest one with the crawl control fix myself. I ordered the orange Virus kit. Then I’m going to do the KDMaxx tune.

I used to do this stuff on my 2013 Subaru STI with my access port and Access tuner software

For sure I won’t do the Factory Toyota update til it’s compatible with KDMaxx.

First thing I needed the cable and tech stream software for was to program a new keyfob. I lost one. :mad:figured I’d buy the kit instead of paying the dealer $150

Is there a similar list like this thread of TSBs / downloads for 2nd Gen? I have a buddy with a 2015, but come up blank on searching any updates for him.

I am sorry, but I don't float around on the 2nd Gen side of the house. They tend to float over here quite enough. :D

But, there are TSBs for 4.0l that tend to unlock a lot of potential. It is funny that they are not as well sorted out as the legends would have you believe. Toyota USA truck tuning is very suspect at this point.

Something seems to be wrong with the CUW files in post #1. In particular I need to run T-0034-18-04B04. I downloaded the file and unzipped it, but it's showing as a PDF and won't let me open it. Anyone know what I should do?

Trust me, it is not the file.

Do you have TS installed? If not, then the file association will not be set.

@tonered - Hey Tony, you and I have been chatting via PM in vF Tuner. I sent you a message there this evening.

Yes, I have v16 of TS installed. Earlier I was hooked up to the truck and went to open the file I had saved to my desktop, but it wouldn't open. My PM to you in vF forum has more details.

Yeah. I saw the PMs and replied.

Lemme look to see where the file association is set.

The CUW file type should be associated with the CUW.exe program. Does yours look like this?

When I try to open the file from my desktop, it opens up Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, and the below is the message I get:

    upload_2021-9-29_21-8-12.jpg

Is the CUW.exe program associated with TS, or something separate?

Yes. You need to point the file association to where I show in the screenshots above. PDF is completely wrong.

Something is not right there. You don't have the EXE?
