I’m sorry in advance if this has been discussed, and i have searched the forum, but don’t see a clear explanation to my question.

I have a 2017 Tacoma Limited with ECU ID O4BO2, but see more OV Tuning options for the newer ECU IDs. Is there a way to have this updated by the dealership and flash some other tunes?

    Thanks,

Yes. The dealer can update that with their techstream software. Many will not do it unless it qualifies through some tsb or other qualifying issue. Some will do it for free when doing other service and some will do it at cost to you. You can also do it yourself with older techstream software that is available online if you have a computer and a compatible obd cable.
