I have a question about the wiring from my ECU to my injectors.
I need to know if the wire that goes from the fuel injector to the ECU is on pin 1 or pin 2 on the fuel injector. I found some engine wiring diagrams of the 4 cyl and that suggests its on pin 1. Is there anybody with an engine diagram that can confirm this is the same with the V6?
There are no markings on the injector connecter that can give me a clue.

    Thank you in advance!

Is there a way to look at the injector and know what pin is nr 1 and what pin is nr 2?

Always good to tell as much as possible Year /Mileage /Engine / Transmission the more we know the easier to help.

With the Pig tail from the injector facing you the clip on the top # 1 should be on your left.

Pray tell what are you trying to fix or do?

Solder and heat shrink the connections.

    Good luck!

Thanks for the help. It’s an 2002 Tacoma 4x4 manual with a V6 engine. Mileage about 180k. I took it to Europe after my stay in the states.

I need the signal from the gasoline ECU for the Propane ECU. I could solder it but I would prefer a wiring harness with proper connectors. These are available here but then I need to know what pin the signal goes through.

I have not decided on that. It’s either a 40gl tank in the bed or a 15gl on the spare wheel spot. It will be permanent.

Its not a very complex conversion. 99% of the imported American truck are propane here.

In that case my signal wire is on #2. So weird it’s different on same engines. Yours was on pin 1 right,

    Correct!

Are you looking at the Harness connector
that is what you should be going by .

The plug facing you the clip on top like your going to plug it into the injector .

The 2000 and 2001 are on pin one which is on the left

The wires going to the ignition switch should all be the same color.

Not having the Correct wiring diagrams for the vehicle your working on is very frustrating!

Haha yes it is. I have to buy the factory book some day.
On the photo that I sent I cirkeld the pin I thought is the #1 pin. When I look at the harness connector that is the positive wire (with the same colour for every injector). That gives me the Ecu wire is on pin #2.
