    I rode for years without skids and had no prob. Teaches you some restraint and to find lines.

    ya i never had skids or sliders on my first truck front bumper was almost a freebie then a spool then tires then the rear bumper and i took that truck everywhere even followed trucks built similarly to my 4runner

    i disagree, our trucks are bad enough without skids, the shit ive seen on my factory equipment, im glad I had skids now...... hell shane didnt have a transfer case skid and cracked his skid into pieces on an easy trail

    and to consider you can get full skids for like 600 to 900 depending on brand and thickness



    tires obviously are a must, but IMO skids are a first for our trucks

    My first Toyota was also a mini as it was a 1990 so it wasn't the big lumbering 2nd Gen you have

    Ya but the problem with cities in Alberta is public transport sucks so you almost still need a car to get around them

    yah, id love too, i have one of two options for tires


    I have two 35's that are toast and useless, so Im thinking i can use one as a spare and buy another 35 OR .....

    if i get enough clearanced ill be on 37's



    the only thing holding me back at the moment is my bumper tabs are ruined and need repair
