Unless you're moving up north I'd stick with 5w30. I use Amsoil synthetic, I get it from the U.S so it's only $10.00 a bottle.

who did you get to do the install? Just getting some pricing together, and deciding if I am going to do the install or pay someone to do it for me.

I can get the rear locker for $1100 - $1300 depending on who I go with, still need to get pricing on a diff reseal kit. $1100 = 4-6 week wait time. $1300 = in my hands right now.

I will look into this master kit, and bust out my drivetrain books... 5 years of dust may require someone alse to do the install...

I had 4Wheel Auto on Argyll Road do the purchase and install. Took them a day to install the locker and they had me in within a couple of days of me inquiring about an ARB locker.

I was impressed that they got my truck in and out so fast. The shop is within walking distance of my house, so it was a no brainer for me.

^ isn't that good? You're getting 16 hours paid for 2.5 hours of actual work? Am I reading this wrong?

The price i listed was with the wrong diff seal kit. Doh! looks like for a locker and master rebuild kit will be about $1600 from 4 wheel auto. Still waiting on a call back from Bear trax.

Ouch, so $2,600 approximately installed. Hopefully Bear comes back with a cheaper price!

Ya. I can do the install myself. I work at a full service equipment shop. So that saves labour costs.
