Edmonton and Area Toyotas

Anyone know how you can function test an ARB rear locker without jacking up the truck? Live in a condo and dont have much room to jack up the truck.

 

If you are going to try to turn with engaged locker on pavement, you will feel the pressure and hear some tire noises

 

Should feel like when the 4x4 binds on tight turns on pavement right?

 

Pretty much that's how it feels on mine.

 

Just found this thread. Anyone in Edmonton have a 2nd gen auto with a s/c that could give me a ride. I'm thinking about investing in a s/c next winter but would like some first hand experience before I have to sell a kidney LOL. PM me if possible. thanks.

Wheel with him all day long gents, but just a lil bit of unsolicited advice...don't follow his tire tracks unconditionally...you WILL mess up your shit. Evgeny trails with the shield of Russian invincibility, no fvcks given. He does what he says he's going to do, believe it.

We're losing a popular member from the Ontario squad, to Alberta's gain to be certain. He might shock you on the trails, but he'll win you over with his loyalty to the team.

Don't know about Edmonton but the guys in Calgary, Krave, are amazing. They did some work on my buddies tundra that several shops in Edmonton couldn't get right and they fixed it first try.

 

I have a buddy with an auto 2nd gen supercharger. Let me know if you want me to connect you guys. We usually meet at UC on Friday nights so you could show up there and I'm sure he'd be happy to drive you around.

I also have a supercharger but it's a manual and it's modified.
