    I'm actually heading out to Calgary on the 27th leave on the 29th. Not coming to Edmonton...

    Should I start a YYC mall crawl thread?

    I just traded in my Tacoma for a tundra (needed extra space for the new baby). If your ok with a tundra in the crew I would be down to meet. Still plan on wheeling this summer.

    Changing Oil in rear diff is pretty easy. Even easier if you drop the spare tire. Can fill it directly from gear oil bottles no prob. Front diff and transfer case tougher to fill and its best to have those pumps you can put right on top of the gear oil bottle since fill hole is tough to get to. I do think 67,000 km could be a little early. I just did my rear diff at around 130,000 for first time and it looked pretty clean and not much metal shavings on the magnet plug. Have not even done front diff or transfer case yet. Probably due eventually.

    @TheRenegade

    I did my rear diff twice in 140000k, front diff I did just recently for the first time (unless the dealership did it waaaay back when I was still going there), the fluid was really dark. And transfer case I've done once.

    I would do them all every 40000km at the most myself, just my approach. $300 is a good dealership price for all 3.

    My summary from another thread

    Did my 100K shit today, all vedy vedy good. No surprises, front diff oil black...xfer case, tranny, and rear diff pretty clear still actually. Front pads were about 50% still...rotors looked good on outside but as usual the insides had more wear, glad I did the rotors but still would have lasted the life of the pads. Brake/clutch fluid had a little yellow tinge that you wouldn't notice til you fill it with the clear new. Power steering fluid was same, not quite as clear as fresh obviously but still pretty clear...

    Spark plugs actually looked pretty good and consistent gap across all 6 at about .6.5 - .70 mm with electrodes looking stout top and bottom. Clearly they also could have gone gone further, but hey why not swap. Factory was Denso as well, although diff number than Toyota recommended replacement.

    Put on the 5100 Rear billies...omg, huuuggee improvement over the spring frost heaves and railroad tracks from the stiff hitachis.

    And clutch accumulator delete but not many here care so I'll discuss that elsewhere

    Good day, about 5 hrs work time, 6 hrs elapsed time

    Has anyone dealt with Toyota Northwest here? I had them to replace my steering rack under warranty, but found this "zip tie certified" surprise under along with disconnected front differential electrical plug. Overall they were quick in doing the work, maybe too quick lol.
