I think he paid $1200-$1500. That was prep/cleaning, paint, and the special coating.
Ted said it should last 25 years (I think).

I don't think it's that bad of a price. There's quite a bit of work he puts in your truck.
It totally beats the Toyota rusting "fix". Toyota barely cleans your truck and sprays stuff all over the bottom of the truck and miss some important areas. Have you seen Ted's videos on Instagram? It's insane what Toyota does.

I will clean, prep, and paint my weld points myself (and other rust). But this will take me some time and it won't last 25 years.

For the whole process it was around 1200 but would vary depending on vehicles im sure. Ted was awesome to deal with it

I’ve been to 780 tuners events before with my truck. Really I don’t think there’s anything that’s not welcomed. I’ve literally seen every possible thing at their openers and closers.

Yeah, I’ll meet you at the one on Saturday. More Tacomas equals more goodness.

Absolutely, I mentioned something a while back and I believe that there will be interest. Maybe if we could look at starting something, maybe print some business cards and just place them on Tacoma's regardless of what generation...even 4Runners...what do you think?
Since this is my very first truck I'm not very familiar with light off road trails but if others would be interested I'm sure something can be done.
Perhaps a drive to Drumheller, a BBQ...?, eh :canada:

    That would be fun!
    Cards are a good idea.

I went to Drumheller this summer. It was a blast!

BTW Toyota on The Trail has in stock OEM transfer oil LF oil, i believe it's around $75 or $85 for 1 litre can. I've decided to go with Red Line stuff for $25 for 1 quart. But JB's Automotive had a sale for $20 a quart, just under 1 litre. Transfercase needs exactly 1 litre.20200902_112558.jpg
