Yeah, the truck has made its way, sort to speak. Part of the reason I dont take the Range Rover on the trails is because I spent so damn much on it. $75K and I would like it take care of it. Dont get me wrong, I use it for its other qualities. I have hit 110mph on the 5 North on it with more room to spare. Today's trail run in Pine Valley just supported my decisions. I had a brand new truck. After washing it, I noticed a lot of scratches all along the right side. Also, my left front fender has popped out and bent do to bottoming out on the trail. Repairs = $$$ . So yeah, I dont think RRSS will not hit a trail anytime soon.

 

I understand where your coming from. Problem with Landrover is they build these offroad machines and no one can use them to their fullest potential cause they cause so damn much. As for your truck, those scratches are nothing a little buffing and waxing cant take care of

 

Yeah, I know about the buffing and waxing. But again that takes time and $$$. Im mainly concerned about the fender flare. I just need to play with it one day.
BTW.... I love the color of your truck. That was the color of my 07 Reg. Cab Tacoma. They discountinued that blue after 08.

 

Trust me, youll be surprised on how much buffing will do. Story time: my friend has an 08 jeep commander 4x4 hemi full loaded. He went on a muddy trail, lost control slid back onto a big man hole that was poping up causing him to loose his spare tire. But he also managed to scrape the shit outta his new paint job. then when he was getting pulled out his bumper nearly got ripped off cause he had a bar that was connected to it which is what a person used to attach to his truck, any way His girlfriends dad owns multiple collision shops and his girlfriends dad gladly waxed it=no more scratches and scrapes and a fixed bumper. So just take a day and wax your truck or pay some one.

As for the fender, you may have broken a clip that holds it, take it to toyota or a toyota body shop and they will fix it for ya. I got a question, why have you gone through some many Tacomas? Thanks, Blue is my favorite color and having a blue taco is just awesome, Toyota will regret not putting the indigo on the 09s+

 

Well, the main reason I got a Tacoma in 07 was for commuting. I drive 27 miles one way. I had every other type of car but not a truck. So I bought the 4 banger Taco. I liked that truck, however you could only take one person with you. So in April of 09 I upgraded to a 4x2 access cab 4 banger. I was happy and satisfied with that truck. Now comes the problem. I discovered TW. Other members kept on nagging on me to get a Prerunner or 4x4. So, one day I started shopping around. I wasnt gonna do it if the price didn't work out. Happily to say... it did. I got an awesome trade in value on the 09 and a smoking deal on the 2010.

Yes, it is! Because getting the M"u"D left my whole right side scratched up and broken fender flare. Take the M"u"D off and I still have all the damage. Thus, the truck having a M"o"D done today. LOL....

 

Ron...now you have earned mt respect...good to see a great looking truck see mud and some dirt. No longer considered a mall queen. Good times out there. Corral Canyon is much better...let do that soon.

 

Edrin hit me up dude.. I have some insane cutting compound that will get those scratches out(it wont fuk up ur paint, I used it to get all the scratches of my truck from the last CC trip) We can knock it out this week if you'd like.. would only take like an hour or so

 

If it got the scratches off PeeJay's truck then it will easily take it off yours...it was hugged up against the bushes on the Trail of tears!!!

 

Awesome job on your truck man. Where did you buy the TRD accessories (seat covers, shifter, etc)??

However if you wait around they usually have group buys on TW for them at a dicounted rate. Other TRD accessories I got all over the internet. Do a search on Google for "TRD" and start shopping. There are alot on ebay too. Good Luck!

I got the scratches from the trail run out in Pine Valley on Sunday from all those tree & bush branches.
