Isn't toyota suppose to give you a full tank of gas when you buy any new vehicle? I got a full tank in my tacoma. Seems some of the other accessories are on the high side too.

This is how dealers make money ... low-labor-cost additions to the base MSRP.

TOYO Guard I would not pay for by choice, and side-steps should be a choice you make later ... side steps tent to be aluminum and are mounted to the body instead of the frame. Installing OEM headlights later can easily run $1300 later, though.

I had predator step replicas put on my truck by the dealer when I bought it only to find out later they were powder coated steel, plus these steps were dangerous during the winter after a snowstorm accumulating ice on them. I slipped off them, and nearly hit my head one morning as I got in the truck. Come spring I took them off.

I bought mine January 2018 as the new models where rolling out, so I got $4K off my 2017. I think demand is higher these days, so you may not get as lucky as I did.

    Good luck!

Even in jan. of 2020 when I bought my tacoma, I was able to get 3k below msrp, plus the $1500 rebate that was offered at the time. Seemed once covid hit, all hell broke loose with these dealers charging as much as buyers were willing to pay for them. Imo, these guys were getting royally rip-off, and some, probably still are.

Hate to burst your bubble, but if it’s on the window sticker you’re paying for it. Toyoguard is a SET thing, but there is value in most of everything else.

That "SET digital portfolio" part tells me that this is the Southeast Toyota distributor. They are pretty well known for doing a ton of accessory bloat to increase profit and they always say that it came that way. Pure horse shit, as they order it that way. That particular regional distributor is like that, but that is NOT Toyota corporate. They just fulfill the allotment and add accessories per whatever was spec'd by the dealership.

Also, the window sticker for every Toyota states that it should have a full tank of fuel, and that comes from corporate. Whatever dealership you found this at is gouging through accessory bloat.
