    That's what it is! the A/C radiator! I've had mine painted for a long time and never a problem!

    I know this thread is old now but if any of you have the trans cooler rad in front of the a/c rad it is painted black from toyota and it works properly...

    Painting a Radiator, condensor, or Intercooler has little to no impact on cooling efficiency. In fact it's argued that painting it black actually increases efficiency. Google it and you will find a lot of interesting reading material.

    You would actually paint your AC Condensor.

    You are only going to paint the front of it..All of those fins are what provides the cooling and chances are only the front 10% of the fins will actually get paint on them.
