ok so im not stupid i know how to get the climate control out and change the lights which i have done.....or at least tried to do.

one of the lights went out to i bought new leds that are blue, so i put them in they were dim as hell because the things like the face, feet, face&feet, symbols have an amber tint.

so i want to try and take them out i have the whole climate control apart except for one thing that is really pissin me off. so if any of you have any ideas or have done this before let me know how!!

    here are some pictures......

so the knob for the heat & for the air flow wont come out they are stuck to the chip or whatever it is in the back. so how do i get it off? can i even do this?

I have tried LEDs in there, but they are just too tim. Go to Toyota and order a new one. It's about $4.

I must have a loose conection on my fan speed selector dial,it goes out and I tap it and it comes on. Are they just bulbs(screw in) or LEDs that are soldered on the board?

well i would but i want the lights to be blue instead of amber, if they have a blue light that will fit and is bright enough to over power the amberish tint on the controls then id do that.

It is a bulb that is wrapped around a plastic base.

It will need to be heavily modified because there is an amber tint over the HVAC controls. I think the only one you can actually change out are the LEDs behind the A/C and recirculation buttons.

ya it is all you have to do it pop out the little plastic plates under the vents on the left and right side of the radio. and if you look inside the two holes you will see a white clip that you just push down on, there is one on each side.

the top half of the climate control will pop out then you just have to pull the bottem half out to get the clips undone. its actually very easy i can post some pic if you need them.
