2014 2.7 auto ran perfect never had any issues. I go to leave the house and barely make it out of the driveway. So I found a blown efi 20 fuse which I replaced. Truck started and ran about 2 seconds and same thing happened. Any ideas I swapped the relay also

I couldn’t find any bare wires. I’m gonna check again soon as the rain passes. If it was a short wouldn’t it blow the fuse when I turned the key on. It blows the fuse after it idles a few seconds.

I have a 99 4runner 3.4 that was doing the same thing it was a short in the O2 sensor wiring. That fuse is always hot in that vehicle and would sometimes blow as soon as the fuse was pushed in

Gotta find the short. Get a handful of fuses (you'll need them) and start wiggling the harness around, rub it against the frame, pull on it, etc. You can also narrow it down by disconnecting 02 sensors (and other sensors) one by one and see if the fuse stops blowing

Napa sells a short finder were you hook up a circuit breaker in place of fuse and theres a meter that points in direction of short .Need to make jumper wire so you can insert into fuse box .Its about $50 but beats keep changing fuses . Gets to be a pain in the ass replacing fuses .
Also need to find what circuits run off of that fuses .Toyota kind of trippy were that one fuse connects to several circuits . Your manual should tell you . Hopefully its not an intermittent short .Very hard to trace . Good luck
