Anyone know what would cause the line between the EGR and the EGR modulator to blow off at rpms?

    Old hose I’m guessing
    Not pliable
    Could replace hose(s)
Or zip tie the hose to secure

Yeah that's not a good sign when you 'blow off' a line thats supposed to be under vacuum....

When you accelerate ....the egr flow into the plenum cuts off......level out at speed and it kicks back in....

Would go thru there is clean that little filter in the egr modulator, and check around all those hoses...
maybe updgrade some of them....check that little one-way check valve...

Probably worst scenario is the egr valve is sticking or going out.......I believe those are like $150.....and thats for an aftermarket...

Another good place to look is at the pcv system...pcv valve ect......if that is not working correctly....
you might get excessive blow-by coming off the engine crankcase..

Or pressure coming back through a bad/bent/burnt valve .....backward, right up thru the head......

Your situation is quite unique.........I can hardly wait for the solution....
    a new chapter.....for mr knowitall....
