Changed out my exhaust manifold and broke the flange on my EGR pipe going into the manifold. Now it keeps popping out when I accelerate hard. Should I spend the $125 on a new one or does someone know another way to fix it? I dont have a welder so I was thinking about flaring the end of the EGR pipe to hold the flange on

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
You could have it welded at a shop local to you. It would only take a few minutes and i can't see the price being overly high.

    Welcome to TW!

Well, my bro-in-law was coming over today and told him to bring the welder. But before he got here I put the flange on the pipe, put a ball bearing over the opening and hit it with a hammer to flare it. Just got back from a test drive and whadaya know! It worked. Hope this helps someone else down the road if they are as cheap as I am. :)
