    Ok I have a 2000 with the 3rz. On my way to work the engine light came on p0401 which is the egr system either blocked or a bad egr valve. Ok so here is my question iv seen some people block it off, I think LCE makes a block off plate for it. Is it ok to do this? Any positive or negative effects of doing so?? Just dont feel like dropping $150 for a new egr valve.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Just replace the EGR. Nothing to gian by blocking it off. in most cases, it causes more harm.
