Hi all, new to TW. Emailed Bilstein on info about lift coils to replace stock, over the stock Bil shocks. Straight from Toyota run 220+ea. Done 5100s/OME & stock on other tacomas. OMEs not good for comfort, great for handling, feel and OR. 5100/stock, not so bad but similar to OME. Just want that soft lovin with some lift (1-1.5F .5R) Now the funny part, they sent me direct to Eibach and said they would have that stock coil replacement...what? i did not know this, please enlighten me. has anyone run these coils over stock shocks? if so, what do you think about ride and lift. Thanks! see email below for a good chuckle.

"Thank you for reaching out to Bilstein, I would be glad to assist. In cases like these where you wish to keep your OEM shock but want to lift, we recommend you reach out to Eibach springs as they have coils that are intended to work with stock shocks and may be better-able to assist. Don't waste time trying to lift using stock front shocks, you won't win there. 5100 lift is absolute lowest cost & performance, if you don't like that then Bilstein 6112 or something from Dobinsons would suit your desires much better.

thanks for reply. the dobinsons look good since they offer a progressive option, rancho as well. seems like 90% of kits 2k or less are digressive, which to me ride too stiff through the majority of range no matter what the spring. linear is perfect but not cheap. owell...guess ill just have to pay big coin
