You don't technically "need" anything. The lift without spacers will have the "Taco Lean". Adding a 1/4" spacer to the driver's side corrects it. A 1/2" on the driver's side and a 1/4" on the passenger's side has the same leveling effect while giving a little added boost in height.

The 1/2" spacer that you would install on the "Driver side" is sold in a with 2 spacers. You would then install the 1/4" spacer on the passenger side.

i see.. but honestly you really dont need that 1/2 spacer correct? just the 1/4" to fix the lean, i mean 80 bucks out of my pocket for a barley any lift is outrages. id rather just pay the 20 bucks and call it a done deal

Correct. You want the driver's side to have 1/4" more lift than the passenger's side to correct the lean. Whether you do it 1/4" (L) and 0" (R) or 1/2" (L) and 1/4" (R), the lean will be corrected.

$80 seems like a lot for that lift but understand that you get 1.5x - 2x the amount of lift as the thickness of the spacer. On a heavier 4wd, a 1/4" spacer gives about 3/8" of lift and a 1/2" spacer gives about 3/4" of lift. On your lighter Prerunner you'll probably get closer to double the lift with the 1/4" spacer giving about 1/2" of lift and the 1/2" spacer giving about 1" of lift.

Outlaw, do you have new UCA's? I think if I went any higher than I am (2.5") then I would have to get a set, as my caster is already a bit lower than the ideal of 2.4 (I'm at 1.9/ 2.0) This is something that anyone looking to do this install should consider...if you go higher than the 2.5" then you will probably have to get new UCA's or have your truck be darty on the HWY.

Billy's @ .85 w/ Eibachs front, TSB w/ 5100's rear + 1.5" AAL & shims, Debadged, Avid Bolt On Sliders, NFab Light Bar w/ (2) Lightforce 170's. Weathertechs, ATO bed bars.
This thread has helped me alot as I'm continually working on my Frankinlift of eibachs, billy's @ .85 and tsb in the back. Looks like my next purchase (next week) will be some Built Right UCA's and a 1.5" AAL, but I'm thinking I'm going to put a 1/2" spacer in the drivers and move the current 1/4" to the passenger as well. With the UCA's at some distant point in the future I would upgrade to some better coil-overs.

Some of us are in the same boat i.e. putting a lift together that seems modular and weird but I pay for it in cash as I go. I wish I could have done it all at one time and gone with sweet Kings or such, but I like to stay out of debt...

After reading your sig line that's exactly right. I am even thinking about the slimline tool box. Nice set up btw.
