this is my deciding factor, i really want to put eibachs on my 5100's but i do most city driving and a fair amount of off roading maybe once a month. Would this be a good setup for me or is there a smoother setup for city driving besides the expensive kings?

Ok, im new to the 5100s and eibachs, was thinking bout a spacer lift but you guys changed my mind, but how much lift with the 5100s and eibachs give you from stock? and can you add spacers or anything else to make it higher?

Give you just over 3'' with the Billys set at 0''. and NO you CAN NOT PUT SPACERS IN IT. You can not safely lift your truck 3'' without a sereious drop bracket for the front Diff. your CV angles will be bad enough with the Eibach coils and you will have to do the Boot slide mod. DO NO PUT SPACERS IN THE COILS OR HAVE THE SHOCKS SET ON ANYTHING OTHER THEN 0". You WILL kill the truck. Don't know why you'd want more then that much lift anyways.

Check out the new 5100s Eibach thread for pics of our trucks with it on.

Anything higher than 3" takes you into dropped bracket lift territory. This is not a stack-able lift.

Hey guys i am contemplating doing exactly what you all are discussing. The Eibach coils in the front 5100 all around and maybe add a leaf in the back? on 31 duractracs and steel Craigers how much lift should i expect and how much Gas mileage should i expect to loose?? 97 xtracab 5speed 2.7 gtting about 18 right now
