I’m looking to lift was hoping to achieving 2” front and 1.5” rear. Going to do 1.5” single aal in the rear. The debate is eibach pro kit with springs or bilstien 5100’s with OME 887 in the bottom clip location. What’s the pros and cons to either?

No cons on either kit. Both kits well liked by lots of members. I went with 5100’s all around and AAL in rear no complaints here. Light trails , camping great budget lifts. Pick one and go for it. 23BAFB99-E18B-4B8B-81AB-A5150509B1F8.jpg
    Just a pic for reference

Glad you started this thread OP. I’m in the exact same situation deciding between Eibach and the 5100s. I’ve read every thread about both setups and it sure makes the decision hard. I have even tried to ask members who have ran both setups and which did they prefer the best but had no luck getting that question answered. Hopefully others will chime in on that thread. Thanks OP. Good luck with your choice.

I'm staying tuned to this thread as well. New 2020 TRD ORDC on order and arriving in two weeks time. I have read no less than 500 posts about suspension on here and I've narrowed it down to Eibach or Bilstein with a AAL. Looking for 2"front and 1.5" rear as well. I'm only going to with a 265/70-17 on TRD wheels and am afraid they'll look to small if the lift is anymore than 2 inches. Looking forward to seeing some replies.

I just pulled the trigger on the Eibach Pro Kit and a 1.5" aal. I ran Eibach springs on my 2nd gen on 5100s and liked them and i just recently has a Subaru Crosstrek that i put on an Eibach Pro Kit and i loved it. So will hope for the best...

I called HEADSTRONG OFF-ROAD today and I explained that I put a 150lbs front BA bumper and a 100lbs rear bumper,(Guessing on the rear weight). Mind you this is a TRD SPORT so when I went to the beach it bounced like crazy. Since I have that much weight on the front and back on a stock suspension they recommended the EIBACH PRO LIFT KIT over the Bilstein because the EIBACH coils were stiffer than any of the Bilstein coils and only allowing 1/2 drop. I now need to look up the specs of the coils for both EIBACH and Bilstein to see how much is the difference. HEADSTRONG also mentioned that the EIBACH coils are at or stiffer than stock and that the Bilstein are less stiffer than stock. Overall the price with coils mounted for the front and rear shocks plus an AAL came out to $831 and $836 so not much difference in price. They also include the leveling spacer with these kits.

They also said that if I wanted to save some cash and was not needing any lift then I can just go with the Bilstein 5100s on the 3rd notch and the stock coils plus the 1 AAL to compensate for the weight. I'll let you know what I find and post specs if i find them.

“They also include the leveling spacer with these kits.”

Are you referring to a 1/4 spacer to eliminate the Tacoma lean? I just ordered this kit and Eibach told me the only other thing it includes is a sway bar spacer for certain models. If you’re talking about a 1/4 spacer, did you get this inside the kit, or did Headstrong just include it because you ordered the kit from them. I also noticed that you installed a 1.5” AAL. The rear strut specs say that they are for trucks with a 0-1” lift. Have you had any problems from the additional 0.5”? Thanks.

5100’s 2” front lift with 1/4” lean spacer about 1.75” rear lift great IMO no complaints

I went with a 2" lift with Bilstein 5100's all around, no complaints.

Ok thanks. Trying to decide if an AAL will hold my fat ass up enough!
